Joint Observation Term in 2023
2023/08/21-08/26 2:00-6:00UTHinode is solar observation satellite launced in 2006. It is encouraged that Hinode observation data is used for not only research but also education. Hinode has joint observations with high school students and astronomical facilities every year since 2010. With this chance, would you take part in this joint observation and compare Hinode data in x-ray/visible light with your own observation data? We would like to pay attention on the sun under the solar maximum now. Among the partipant schools, the students have a presentaion on the joint observation results at the local science contests and so on. Foreign solar reseachers have The joint observations have highly paid the attension on the joint observations ever. Hinode team hope that the students carry out the joint observations.
- You don't need observe every day. It is no problem to observe only one day.
- Nearly at 4:00UT, solar fulldisk image is observed in x-ray. In other hours, active regions or prominences are observed in x-ray. However, It is not available to observed in visible light and CaH line now.
